Anything that is made or designed obviously would have a maker or designer. The maker/designer would be able to give authoritative details and information about his work. In the case of life on earth, the Designer and Maker has made himself known and gave adequate details about His creation.
Living matter could not have come from non living matter according to Darwin’s theory. Laboratory tests have not been able to prove this. Also, fossil records also show that animals that died years ago are just as complex as the ones today, and neither is there evidence of animals in transition from one form to another. There is also no evidence of ape men. What may have existed were humans who were deformed or diseased in some way, but certainly not half man, half ape. At the end of the day, all the evidence points to a Creator rather than evolution.
The computer system and its coded information is highly complex. The person behind the design of the computer has to be a very intelligent individual. From the original design to now, we have seen more highly complex and sophisticated computer programs. It would be absurd to say that the computer came about by chance and natural processes. To indicate this would sound rather ridiculous. It is the same way with life forms. As a matter of fact, life on earth is much more complex than any computer system and no man has even come close to producing a machine as sophisticated as the simplest life form.
The designs of life on earth and its coded information certainly indicate an intelligent designer and coder, one far more intelligent than man. When we look at nature it is evidence enough to indicate a Creator according to Romans 1:19 – 20.
“For the truth about God is known to them instructively. God has put this knowledge in their hearts. From the time the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky and all that God made. They can clearly see his invisible qualities – his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse whatsoever for not knowing God.”
If one wants to find out about the design of a particular piece of equipment, he can either take it apart to see how it is made up and how it works, or he can consult the designer and his documentation for the necessary information. The easiest and best way is to consult the designer.
So is there any documentation from the creator of life about his creation? Yes, it is found in the Holy Bible. The bible is filled with scripture about how and why God created the earth and life. Most of them can be found in Genesis, Job, Isaiah, Revelation and the Psalms. Take for example for the following verses:
“I am the Lord, who made all things. I alone stretched out the heavens. By myself I made the earth and everything in it.” Isaiah 44:24
“I am the one who made the earth and created people to live in it.” Isaiah 45:12
“You are worthy, O Lord our God, to receive glory and honour and power. For you created everything, and it is for your pleasure that they exist and were created.” Revelation 4:11
God has given us, over time, miraculous signs and events to prove to us that He is indeed the creator. These were done through Moses, from the plagues to the parting of the Red Sea, Noah and the Flood, various prophecies that have already come to pass and through Jesus’ death and resurrection. All these were witnessed and recorded for us today and science does not have an answer for their happening.
Evolutionists as well as Creationists rely on indirect information, whether spoken or written, that was observed by others, rather than their own personal experience. But the bible gives more reliable information and credibility for a Creator God and is the best source for defending creation.
